GEICO Owls Aren't That Wise Commercial

A husband and wife are driving down the road not saying a word to each other, when the wife spots a GEICO billboard and reads it aloud “Huh, 15 minutes could save you 15% or more on car insurance.” The husband replies in a subtly smug tone “Yup, everybody knows that.” The wife turns to him and says “Well, did you know that some owls aren’t that wise?” The husband tries to comprehend the statement his wife had just blurted out, only to end up with a baffled look on his face. Quickly we are taken to a scene where a husband and wife owl are standing on a tree limb, talking about their day. The wife owl says “Don’t forget I’m having brunch with Meagan tomorrow.” The husband asks (in typical owl fashion) “Who?” The wife owl tries to explain “Meagan, my co-worker.” Again the husband owl replies “Who?” In disbelief, the wife goes on “Seriously? You met her like three times.” Still the husband owl replies “Who?” The wife owl lets out a sigh and turns away.

First, I doubt the ‘husband’ is an actual hetero. Second, the hook line doesn’t pass the clever test. This meme of dumbass husband/father should be curbed before it starts pissing actual men off.
