Description

Jan welcomes a customer “Welcome to Toyotathon.” The man states “We need something safe for the little one.” Jan replies “Well, Toyota’s are loaded with great safety features.” The man explains “People call us overprotective.” Jan relates with the man “Is there such a thing?” The mans wife walks over to them with their son, who looks to be about 12 years old, in a baby carrier attached to the front of moms body. “There’s a great selection here.” Jan, seeing the child who’s way to old to be in a carrier says “I guess there is such a thing.” The man doesn’t follow. “As what?”

I think the chick in red is gorgeous!

Overall I like these commercials. I love when they end with that perfect genuine reaction by the main actor/actress

  • frogjockey says:

I’ve seen this actress (redhead) a bunch of times- she’s constantly working. I forget her name though.
Although one time when I was living in LA I went with my roommate to some random party in Malibu and she was there serving as amateur bartender. I think she made me a Mojito. It was middle of the road.

This commercial bye far gives the wrong impression. We try today to get kids away from being lazy or for that matter to stay off TV or games and be productive with there day.

  • Sandy Shapiro says:

Does anyone supply the names of the producers and creatives of this commercial spot? You can email me or post here. Thanks.

  • Jack Griffins says:

Was the kid on a wire? Mom would have to lean back to support that weight.

  • Ben says:

Just because it was done before in a short film that nobody has heard of doesn’t mean it was stolen

    • Sandy Shapiro says:

The short film has over 11, 000 views on dailymotion and has played festivals. That’s 11, 000+ nobodys.

      • Ben says:

11,000 is nothing to gloat about. This commercial has over 330,000 views on youtube in less than a month. For a commercial! Again, just because something similar has been done before does not mean it was “stolen”. You seem to be on some weird crusade to kill the commercial.

Thanks Sandy–by the way does anyone know what the actresses name is who is playing the mother in this commercial??

  • Sandy Shapiro says:

This concept (overgrown boy in baby carrier) was stolen from the short film SHARP LOVE, SHARP KITTENS!

  • Jason says:

Love the over protective commercial–best commercial by far–
